Good things come to those who wait.
It’s taken me a long time to get this private studio together. Longer than I imagined, honestly. There’s been so much to navigate — unpredictable ups and downs that come with running your own space and dealing with a management company that leaves so much to be desired.
Some days it’s been deeply rewarding — seeing little pieces finally come together, finding that one piece of furniture that makes the room feel right, or simply unlocking the door and knowing this place is mine. Other days, it’s been overwhelming. Running a studio on your own is a learning curve in every direction — patience, timing, budgeting, even self-trust.
Because of it all, I’ve fallen behind on updates, but that’s changing soon. Learning a routine for inventory? Nightmare. There are also some loose ends I’m tying up decor-wise. I have a ton of prints I am in the process of getting framed. All from tattooers I admire. It’s kind of surreal to see the collection of things that finally have a home to be hung. You get to see a peek of the artists I look up to and admire. I am super excited for this gallery wall!
